One Thing God Desires of You Trust

Like the prodigal son, you might be feeling like you're in a pig pen, mired in filth and despair, believing that your life is a mess and there’s no way out. The prodigal son hit rock bottom, losing everything and finding himself feeding pigs, a situation that symbolized the lowest point of his life. Similarly, you may feel trapped in your own version of a pig pen, overwhelmed by your mistakes and failures. However, just as the prodigal son remembered his father's house and decided to return, you too can turn to God. God has the power to lift you out of the pit, no matter how deep it seems. He can cleanse you from your sins and restore your life, but this requires putting your trust in Him. Acknowledge your need for His help, repent for your past, and embrace the grace and mercy He offers. By trusting in God, you can find redemption and a new beginning, leaving the pig pen behind and walking into the light of His love and forgiveness. ~~~ WATCH FULL SERMON: https://youtu.be/bcuUFNnFGHs ~~~ Join Us Every Sunday Online @ 8:15am EST on Power In The Word w/ Pastor Anthony Mills ~~~ Would like to support our ministry and help share the gospel of Christ to all people? Jesus Started This Good Work In You And He Will Finish It!

Much like the story of Jonah, who experienced God's guidance and deliverance, we too can be assured that God is at work within us. Jonah's journey was one of divine intervention, patience, and ultimately, redemption. Despite Jonah's initial reluctance and the trials he faced, God's plan prevailed, demonstrating His unwavering commitment to completing the good work He began. Similarly, in our own lives, we can trust that God is actively working within us, guiding us through our own trials and uncertainties. Philippians 1:6 reminds us of this promise: "being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus." This assurance encourages us to place our trust in God, knowing that He is faithful to finish what He started. Trusting in God means surrendering our fears and doubts, acknowledging that His ways are higher than our own. It requires patience and faith, much like Jonah needed to embrace during his journey. Even when the path ahead seems unclear or difficult, we can be confident that God is working all things for our good and His glory. As we trust Him, we open ourselves to His guidance, allowing Him to shape and mold us according to His perfect will. In doing so, we participate in the divine work He is doing in and through us, growing in faith and character. Just as Jonah's story ultimately led to the salvation of many, our own journeys, marked by trust in God, can lead to profound and lasting impact. In summary, just as God began a good work in Jonah and saw it through to completion, He is doing the same in each of us. By placing our trust in Him, we can confidently navigate life's challenges, knowing that His purposes will prevail and His promises will be fulfilled. ~~~ WATCH FULL SERMON: https://youtube.com/live/DGgL-o6jnNo?feature=share ~~~ Join Us Every Sunday Online @ 8:15am EST on Power In The Word w/ Pastor Anthony Mills ~~~ Would like to support our ministry and help share the gospel of Christ to all people? DON'T WAIT FOR A CRISIS TO CONNECT WITH GOD!

DON'T WAIT FOR A CRISIS TO CONNECT WITH GOD!

Many of us as Christians tend to draw closer to God during times of crisis. When life's challenges overwhelm us, we seek comfort and guidance in His presence, relying on His strength to carry us through. While this natural inclination to turn to God in difficult moments is a testament to our faith, it also highlights a significant gap in our spiritual lives. We often wait for trouble to strike before deepening our relationship with God, missing the richness of a daily walk with Him. God's word continually reminds us of His promise to rescue those who love Him. Psalm 91:14-16 beautifully captures this assurance: "Because he loves me, says the Lord, I will rescue him; I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name. He will call on me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honor him. With long life I will satisfy him and show him my salvation." These verses offer profound comfort, emphasizing that God's presence and protection are assured, not just in times of crisis, but always. However, the key to truly experiencing this divine support lies in our daily connection with God and His word. By building a strong spiritual foundation through regular prayer, Bible study, and worship, we equip ourselves with the strength and wisdom needed to navigate life's inevitable trials. When we are rooted in God's love and guidance, we are better prepared to face temptations and challenges, knowing that He is with us every step of the way. Connecting with God before a crisis ensures that our faith is not reactive, but proactive. It transforms our relationship with Him from one of occasional reliance to one of constant companionship. This continuous fellowship not only fortifies us against the storms of life but also enriches our daily existence with His peace, joy, and purpose. In conclusion, let us strive to seek God not only in times of need but in every moment of our lives. By nurturing our spiritual relationship with Him daily, we can experience the fullness of His promises and live in the assurance that He is always with us, ready to rescue and reward those who honor Him. ~~~ WATCH FULL SERMON: https://youtube.com/live/VQNp4I-cYbs?feature=share ~~~ Join Us Every Sunday Online @ 8:15am EST on Power In The Word w/ Pastor Anthony Mills ~~~ Would like to support our ministry and help share the gospel of Christ to all people?
